For several months many of you have been asking us to bring in wines and import beers. We were listening! We will soon have a a nice collection of American, Australian, Italian and Japanese (saki) wines available. We hope over the next coming months to carry a wide range of specialty wines, and liquors.  We’ve also got some great beers coming in.  Our beer selection will represent 11 different countries.  If your eating Thai for dinner, why not try Singha beer? For our English crowd we have Boddingtons, Newcastle, Guiness, and even strongbow cider. We haven’t left out the Canadians with MOlson and Labatt’s.  There are several other specialty beers from the USA, Japan, Australia, Jamaica and more.

With a great selection and great prices you can buy dinner and drinks all in one stop. Special prices available for wholesale customers.

We are very excited to announce our new online ordering form.  If you would like to place an order to be picked up in the store simply click on the “order online” to your left and enter the information in the form. This service is currently only available to individual customers. We hope to have a wholesale order form up shortly. Please allow a minimum of 6 hours for us to process your order. Dear Alba Foods Customers:

As many of you are starting to notice Alba Foods is growing very quickly.  Our store has expanded into quite the little Delicatessen with many of the foods you know and love.  Alba Store is designed for the general public as a place to shop for top quality meats, cheeses, and specialty foods.  Alba Store can no longer provide our restaurant and resort customers with wholesale prices on products they purchase in store.  If you are running low on an item and just need a little to get by, we are happy to tide you over, but you will be charged at the everyday store prices. We apologize for the inconvenience but please understand that this is a retail store with numerous overheads.  Alba Foods is committed to providing the best quality products at some of the lowest prices. Additionally, we are happy to announce our extended store hours.  Monday – Friday 8am to 8 pm, Saturday 9 am to 5 pm, closed on Sunday.

Our wholesale department continues to expand providing more products to a wider variety of customers.  Alba Foods now supplies restaurants on Roatan, Utila, and Copan.  As we expand, we have faced new challenges in providing the same quality of service. We have had to make a few changes to cope with these challenges. Firstly please call, email, or drop off your wholesale orders.  We are happy to stop by for a visit and help you in the ordering process but please schedule an appointment. Secondly, as the illusive duty free-zone begins to take shape the process of importing goods gets more difficult.  There is far more paperwork and unsurprisingly more expense. As a result, we will only be placing wholesale orders every other week.  Please place your orders on Mondays.  This will also simplify the ordering process as you will receive one order just in time to place the next.  We understand this will mean ordering larger quantities and many of you have limited space.  If this is a concern, please speak with us and we will make special arrangements.  We have had to make some changes to our delivery policy.  For smaller purchases we ask that you pick those up in store, on wholesale orders under $300 we will charge a $20 delivery fee.  Finally payment, payment is due at the time you receive the goods. We understand cash flow in the restaurant business, but we can no longer give large credits. If you are placing an order of $1500 or greater you must pay half up front and the balance at the time of delivery. If payment continues to be an issue we will unfortunately have to enforce interest charges.

We truly appreciate your business and thank you for our growing success. In the coming months as construction on Alba Plaza finishes we look forward to a great party with all our friends and clients. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
